Gords polish how its directed then I used it with a power ball and it workes great. There are a lot of videos on the Gords but you will get a 100 ways of doing it. Its more or less get some polish and go at it.

Terry cloth rag to put it on, terry cloth towel to take it off.

Old kitchen or bath towels work great for polishing aluminum. Aacoa makes a clear liquid to go over the polished surface. I got some last year but haven't tried it yet. It's supposed to hold the shine longer, and resist the elements. I'll try it this year and post results later in the riding season.

For the best shine it seems like there is no substitute for good old fashion elbow grease. I was kind of hoping you were going to say some kind of attachment for a drill. Sorry Nytro, not trying to hijack a thread.

I just bought the never dull at walmart and it seems to bring some more shine out of it.

Busch Aluminum Polish, its made in South Carolina. Truckers use it on their wheels. Rub it on and buff it off. Like some others have said the more elbow grease the better the shine!

i dont remember exactly what i use but i do know its made by niagra if im correct. Its the best stuff ive ever used spray it on let it foam wipe off and then wipe it of to top it off add a little never dull to the finish and your tunnell looks better than showroom in about a half hour.

I tried that power ball on my XP, and it works pretty well until it touches even a small corner of the running board were the aluminum is formed up for the bottom of the foot to grip on. I can't tell you how many bloody knuckles I have from trying to polish that area. Maybe this foam is the answer. Thanks "winter time"

so8434~ Did you use the red or yellow power ball?

The red one is for metal, I have used it on diamond plate and on my tunnel with no problems. Now I know the XP has even sharper grips on the tunnel, so that may make the difference.

The yellow one is for paint.
