Another great couple of days of riding. This time it was myself, my brother, buddy Lance for his first trip up of the year, buddy Eric, who seems to have gotten bit by this whole boondocking thing, and Kris (Doospunk)came over from Minnenosnowta to join us for some great riding.

Wednesday morning we set off to do a little playing before we had to head up to John's to ride with him and Keewenawboy.

Here is Kris with Lance back behind him

20 minutes into the ride, I had my first stuck of the day

The lineup of sleds, literally 3 minutes after I took this picture, Lance was stuck, no pictures of that though. LOL.

    Where we just came from

We then headed up to John's, here is a picture of the trail on the way. It was already flat before they groomed it.

    All of us at John's.

John's buddy Scott took us out and treated us to some GREAT boondocking

This pic is a little deceiving, we had to go over the top of this downed tree, it was then straight down for about 3-4 feet or so, then up the hill on the other side. John was trying to take it easy and pank down a path for the rest of us. Rule number one when boondocking, screw everyone else, make sure you make it first, then come back and dig THEM out. LOL.

Here is John seting the hi mark

    Kris carving

Thursday morning we headed out, and within 25 minutes, 3 out of the 5 of us were stuck in waist deep snow, it was just freaking awesome!

Lance stuck down below, Kim walking/wading, over to help him, Kris was stuck up ahead of Lance, and I was stuck where I took this picture from

Eric on his way up to help me, I think he liking that M6 A LOT

    Don't roll it!

Untouched skidder track behind my brother, we left that one for next time

Kim coming down the logging road, he then had to swing up and around this downed tree

More untracked up ahead, loving it!

Lance stuck, again. LOL. Rule number 2 when boondocking, track speed is your friend.

    Heaven on earth.

    Kris launching off a drift

Eric doing the same thing, the danger I put myself in for these pictures! LOL.

Kim cleaning off his running boards while we wait for the guys.

We had to go back and find them, they had just got Kris dug out. Kris used Eric's foot for traction to get out of there.

How do you know when it's deep? When you stand in the trench you just made wih your sled, and you are eyeball to bumper with the sled behind you.

Me digging out, while I was shoveling, Kim was cutting the branches off the downed tree we had to go under to find a place to turn around at.

My sled turned around and waiting to continue the journey

Kris stuck under the tree, rule number 3 when boondocking, before laying down in the snow, make sure the snow is not yellow. LMAO! Good thing Kris wears a yellow jacket.

Lance with the stuck of the year so far, it took two shovels, and the snobunje to get it out of there. If you aren't getting stuck, your not having fun!

    Kris jumping

    Eric jumping

We arrived at my house, and we had to clear the fresh 12" of snow out of the driveway before we could park the trailer and unload everything. I don't know what happened here, Eric must still be getting use to that new M6 that he bought from M and M Motorsports. LOL

I added the summer sucks sign to my mailbox post right before Christmas, for some reason it just keeps snowing here at home, 17" in my backyard right now, and another 6-10 maybe by Sunday night. I guess I will have to keep that sign up all year eh? Ahh, life is good, real good!

I just want to say that the trails up there utterly and completely ROCK this year. If you have never been up there before, or had a bad expeirence with bumpy trails before, go up there now! Big thanks to all the groomer operators!!

Also a big thanks to Richard and Sandy Krupp, see you guys in a month!!

I'm crying so hard I can't type. Here in MinneNOSNOWta.

Brad - Wyoming doesn't look like it's gonna happen for us - we are thinking of heading UP instead. Gonna keep watching the conditions and will keep in touch with you.

LMAO too, rule number 6, make sure the owner of the keys is sleeping, so he doesn't go directly to the freezer in the morning. LOL.
