Northern Wisconsin ICE on lakes pics

Here are some shots of Ice on lakes in the Tomahawk area. All taken today:

This is lake alice from south east boat landing off Hwy D




This is Lake Nokomis taken from Hwy N bridge near Fish Trap Bar




This is Lake Mohawksin taken on the south east side from where snowmobile trail goes onto the lake (looking towards Happy Snapper Bar)

Looks like good ice, ill be up in two weeks so hopefully the trails will be open. home for the holidays.

SKADONT!!!! You are a funny guy brother!!! However, you have had bad luck on the sled part. You attract the lemons I think. You and I have had identical sleds since 2003 and I have had no probs. Knock on Wood.

Oh and I had to mention. Lake Alice, Lake Mohawksin--are wisconsin river. Lake Nokomis is actually Nokomis Resovoir and has most of the water let out of it for the Kayakers in Wausau. LOL!! Could not resist to give my home town some humor!! But, lets get them froze over and solid so they open the trail system over there.

Very nice pictures. To everyone, please be careful with early-season ice. A fellow went through the ice near Brainerd, MN to rescue his dog (after the dog went through the ice). Both are okay as I understand. Common sense is the name of the game.
