To Go or Not to Go?

Couple guys and I are thinking about pulling out on Friday afternoon and head to the Mass City area. What do you think both offtrail and ontrail conditions will be?

Looking for Mass City or Bergland...Son passed his Snowmobile safety class last weeked and want to reward him with good trail conditions...will they be grooming by the weekend?

Accomodations... have been up there but always road out of Land O Lakes, going all out this trip with my Son and want to stay in the area...advice?

Watch out off trail even though its starting to get deep...base not packed and settled yet.

I have heard good things about the Bluff Bunkhouse in Mass, otherwise Krupps is always a nice place and just a tad bit farther down the road in Twin Lakes...I believe there is a place called Peppermill in Rockland which would also be a good choice...

Im planning on heading up to Mass City with 06mxzx and zx6r1996 as well...maybe we'll run into you guys...look for a Backcountry X '10, Summit XRS '10, and Renegade X '08...ill keep you posted as to when we make the executive decision about heading up...
