The mack daddy of all Tunnel Bags! Boondockers special!
After a lot of time an effort we finally can release our very own tunnel bag.
We felt that the industry needed a bag that nobody made so.......we made it.
Most tunnel bags are one compartment, sitting right on the tunnel of your sled. You cram as much stuff into it and when you need something you end up emptying the whole thing to get the one item you wanted. The other problem that many of us have experienced is condensation building up in the bag. The heat from the heat exchangers hit the cold air in your bag and moisture forms.
Problem solved....
Introducing the E-Series (Explorer Series) Tunnel Bags from Sled Solutions.
E-Series Max $179.99

E-Series Mini $159.99

Features:
• 99% waterproof – The bag is everything but submersible but you can count on your content staying dry as the bag has been designed using materials and sewing practices that eliminate places for water to get in.
• Hot/Cold Barrier – Helps keep the heat from the heat exchangers from ever hitting the cold air in the bag.
• Semi Ridged construction – The bag will keep its shape when empty.
• Shovel system allows you to store a shovel on the bag for quick use while not restricting entrance into the bag.
• Reflective strip along the back for added safety and visibility.
• Inside you’ll find a mesh zipper compartment on the bottom side of the lid and 2 mesh pouches on the sides for extra storage.
• 3 elastic straps are located in the bottom of the bag to keep your contents in place during your ride.
• 2 elastic loops to keep water or pop from bouncing around in the bag.
• Waterproof zipper with dual zipper pulls.
• Bag is universal and will fit most models.
• Attachment is accomplished using cam buckles which rivet to your tunnel.
• Full zipper so you have full access to all of your gear.
• Available in Black only!
• 4-6 plastic feet are sewn into the bottom of the bag to keep it off of your tunnel and prevent wear to the tunnel bag.
• 1 year limited warranty against manufacturers defects.
• Dimenisions:
Mini - 12" x 12" x 7"
MAX - 12" x 16" x 6.75"
• Made in the U.S.A.
• These will fit:
• XP Renegades and Summits - Rev Summits.
• 2010 M-Series and Crossfires with Shorty seat or 05-2010 M-Series/XFire if you've upgraded to the shorty seat.
• RMK's and Switchbacks
This product was tested last season in some pretty extreme conditions. Phatty from the Boondockers crew used one as well as our own testing here in the Midwest. Snow conditions ranged from powder to spring wet snow.

[b]During these tests we found the content of the bag stayed dry and NO condensation!

What are the dimensions. I have a Attak that has been stretched to 144 with tunnel kit. Also what type of shovel is that and do you have them for sale also??
-
Looks like a great design to me. I would post this under Classifieds parts & accessories as you will get alot more viewers. I'm a regular visitor to this site and this is the first time I even looked in here. Look at the # of views you get as opposed to the Classifieds. Just trying to help.

The small bag is 12" x 12" The Large bag is 12" x 16" and yes we sell Voile and HMK shovels at a discount when you buy the bag. You have to be careful with the exhaust, I don't know how much room you have but unless you have the turn outs for the exhaust it may melt the bag on the Attak.

Thanks, this is the Supporter section so I'm trying to keep the USED stuff separate from the new stuff.

I need to mention that you should never store your shovel on this bag when riding out west. Always have it on you.

Amen brother. Nice looking bag though. Shovel on the sled is fine in the UP. No real chance of an avalanche up there.

Hi Paul,
On an XP Renegade, can you use the ski doo gas caddy with the "max" bag or perhaps just the mini?
Also, will the mini hold a rattler and still have enough room left to store some things?
Thanks for you input.
-
If this bag will work on a Renegade w/ a gas can mounted directly behind the seat I will order one this week??????
-
I know Paul was up nort this week, not sure if he will see your posts tonight or not. E-mail him at paul@sledsolutions.com, you might get a quicker response. Paul is a great guy to deal with by the way.
Lake Effect Snow, my three favorite words.

No, the gas caddy from BRP will not fit with either bag. You can fit a Rattler and a plenty of other stuff in the Mini.
Thanks,
Paul

Paul, few questions for ya. I followed your thread on TY about building the bag for the xtx and I'am still determined on getting some storage on the back. So.... I plan on relocating my tail light and want to use this bag. Wondering if I put a aluminum plate on the back of the bag between the exhaust if you think this would work? I guess I was just wondering where you were getting the most melting problems from? Back, top, or side of the bag? I will get something figured out! lol
Thanks, Guy

Guy,
The majority of the melting was on the top and corner under that went UNDER the exhaust turn out. I'm sure you can build something to protect the bag but it's still too much of a liability for us to do it. What you do with the bag after you get it is up to you. Relocating the taillight would have to happen, no question.
-
Thanks, thats what I needed to know.
-
Paul,
So an 08 M series with a shorty seat will fit the large bag and a gas caddy?

Thumbs Up Review
I have to tell you that we put this bag to the test this last week. Paul did a great job making this bag. Size, attachments, compartments, bands were done perfectly. I would recomend this bag for both trail riders and Outback/Moutain riding. You hit a home run with this one Paul.
