Awesome Christmas present

Right before Christmas somebody posted on here about how to tell her boyfriend that she was getting him a trip out west for xmas. I, like many others, read it and thought what a lucky guy. Well, it turns out it was my wife and I am the lucky guy who gets the trip. "thank god it wasn't her boyfriend" Don't have all the final plans yet but she has talked with 2 of my riding buddies to get the trip coordinated, talked to my boss so he knows I'll be taking some time off, and has saved up money from her job to pay for it. I haven't been to the mtns since 2003 (since kid # 2 arrived) so I am excited. And yes, she's a great wife!

Yep, she's a great wife and I got lucky. She's also a very avid sledder and puts on about 1500 miles/year herself.

She gave me a t shirt that had on it "I love it when my wife gives me a trip out west for christmas" The words "I Love my wife" were in large font while the rest was very small so if you just glance at the shirt you would think it just said i love my wife.

Husband calls me on way home from work to tell me as soon as he gets home he's loading up and heading to a buddies to finish up some work on his sled. Knowing he'd be in a hurry I went out hooked up the trailer and got the sled ready for him. He came home while I was loading. He says "do I have the best wife or what". I giggled nervously as I thought "actually I think Elf does".

Kinda glad right now that he's not a frequent visitor of johndee, he's oblivious to how high your wife has set the bar for us all now! lol

The day my wife actually hooks up the trailer, I'd be amazed. My 7 yr old son does a better job of guiding me into it than my wife does!!
