08 M8 Sno Pro front heat exchanger.

Hi i have a m8 sno pro and am wondering if any one has had the bulk head break where the steering post mounts on. i had mine break and went to have it welded and now my front heat exchanger leaks because of it. How hard is it to get the heat exchanger out. do i have to drop the track and skid and just take it out from underneath or is there an easier way. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pretty sure the heat exchanger is part of the front bulkhead and is not easily replaceable. Best bet may be to figure out where it is leaking and have the same person do a little weld touch-up.

How did you break the bulk head on your M8?

im not really sure. i was riding and noticed that i had a lot of up and down play in my handle bars and looked in there and found it to be cracked. looked at my bros crossfire and it was the same way.
