Default Cat F Series trunk delete

I've sent along a few pictures of my 08 F8 with the trunck removed, LED taillight and Cat bag added. Easy upgrade to basically same as a 2010.

Nice job. Is that an AC LED light or did you get it somewhere else?

It's a taillight off a CFR with a fabricated aluminum angle piece for mounting. Light is pop rivited to rear chassis frame.

Looks good but why did you remove the trunk to add a bag? Just curious. Is the bag more functional?

Is this trunk delete kit from Cat or is it from Snoskinz or whatever that other company is? I also am curious why one would remove a trunk just to put a bag there? I know the trunk lets some snow in and some dislike the look of the plastic wedge pieces coming down the side of the tunnel. But, what else makes it worth the effort? Plus, what is the cost? I like that look, but would need to have more info before spending the money on this.
Any more detailed pics would be appreciated.

It's a Cat bag, the Skinz kit removes all the plastic and gives you a solid surface in the rear.

The total cost of the taillight, bag, 2 side rails and misc. was around $200. I left the OEM side skirts and plastic base under trunk on(plastic base is between the trunk and the track). I then fabed a aluminum plate on top of it and ran the wiring under it. The Cat bag provides about triple the storage vs OEM trunk. The provided pictures show everything prior to mounting the bag.
