2007 mxz 500 heated shield hook up

this sled has no battery anyone know which wires I can use for the shield thanks

Right side of sled under the dash is an empty wiring connector. It has a red and blk wire. Put male spade connectors on the ends of the heated shield cable and stick them in the connector. You can check with a test light or voltmeter. Just fire up the sled and test.

There is a plug in the harness right next to where your DESS plugs in. Their are 2 wires, one is black & the other is red with a yellow tracer. You will have to take off some body panels to hard wire it. Or get the right connector from skidoo and not have to mess with the panels. I hard wired my 06 600 sdi. Not sure if yours is the same.
