08XP MXZX 800r Broke Motor Mount..Recall??

My riding bud called today & his 08XP MXZX 800r shreded a clutch belt & broke a motor mount at about 100mph on the grade today. He said he found 1/4 inch piece of metal in motor bay then sent picture trailside via internet to doo dealer & they IDed as motor mount piece. He said engine seemed a bit poochie not responsive then bang belt blew with metal sound end of his ride for today. We are now getting a repair game plan together finding out what you all know about this before we take sled in to dealer.

I remember reading something about 08 XPs 800rs breaking motor mounts.

Is there a recall for this?

What is fix & is there a new & improved 800r XP motor mount?

How expensive for dealer to fix?

Gotta buy a motor mount. not sure if they changed after 08, but go with an 09 or RS mount.
