    Default So whats the deal with optima batteries?

    I keep hearing mixed reviews. Some say junk, some say great. Does it depend on application? Anyone use them?

    Good for racing or off-roading applications, the cells are rolled the layered and will take more abuse. Not worth the extra dollars for normal every day driving.
