Just talked to Sandy at Krupp's and locked myself in to arrive Thursday. I'll have an ATV and chainsaws. I'm also bringing my sled to have some work done by one of the Houghton Motorsports guys (formally Keweenaw Motorsports - Marty sold, bummer). Kinda nice to kill 2 birds with one stone. Also think I'm staying till Teusday or so and plan on riding the ATV or fishing a few of the days while I'm there, anyone have time for some extra fun?

What is everyones thoughts on doing the trail clean up without an ATV? We were gonna have them but decided not to bring them since we're only going up for one day of clean-up. I'm not sure about bringing my truck down the trail to get scratched and the inside muddy. I haven't done one of these trail cleanups before and am looking for suggestions.

I don't have one. Ken is bringing two and I'm borrowing one. It is becoming a hassle to bring them so we're thinking of just not.

We've got groups out working different directions on different jobs today so when they get back in a few hours-we'll see what all got done today, what they think will be accomplished tomorrow and we'll be able to better answer about atv's. It is true that before they head for home Sunday, some will go out to see what kind of trouble they can get in. However, after Skylar called Richard a "slavedriver" he might not come to your rescue to pull you out of creeks or mud. LOL
I've been doin some cookin'-so far, a gallon jar of pickled eggs & beets, humungous bowl of pasta salad, cole slaw, potatoes peeled & sliced for scalloped potatoes, 3 cakes. Can only do some things so far ahead-come Sat. I'll have to get made, the escalloped potatoes, beans, corn casserole and of course it's Richard that will tend the grill with burgers, brats and dogs. Hope I'm makin' you hungry.
With having such a good turnout this year, we might end up doing the name tag thing with your real name, your johndee name and where you're from. Just hope for nice weather.
    Sandy

Yea, this wasn't one of Ken's finer moments... but he made a valiant attempt nonetheless.

Getting hit would have been fun and led to many more stories, laughs, etc.

I was wondering how long it would take for Cuzz to become a kept man. Keith, I will pay for your truck wash but it will be sent to the Mrs. lol. I would love to make the 12 hr. drive up to work (drink beer) with you guys but I got to go to an "Octoberfest" beer tent and to a "Salmonfest" beer tent on Saturday. Wifes orders. lol
