New Years weekend at Ranch Rudolf???

Anyone know of any fun activities going on in the area of Ranch Rudolf (Kalkaska area) durring New Years weekend?? Staying four days, Thurs- Sun. just the wife and I. NO KIDS this trip. Thanks

hey your out in the middle of no where at the ranch ,closest place to go would probably be TC. Our club use to stay out ther quite a bit and if your with a group you cold have fun right there . They use to have bands in the dinning area .

On your way to TC you can stop at Cross Roads Bar in Rapid City.

Competition??? Not sure what your talking about. If you are refering to the night life the Ranch used to have back in the day, that is all gone. Back in the 90's it was a great party place that drew crowds of snowmobilers, skiers and just anyone in and around the area looking to have a lot of fun. Great bands, music and good beer! Now it has turned more into a great family resort and everyone is made to feel welcome. They still have the bar, no more bands and loud music (and fights). 22 years ago, the owner gave me a huge plate of ribs to try. Just because he thought it was nice of me to travel the distance i did to come to their place. I've been hooked since. Unfortunetly, because of Santa's deer Stupid, my truck is in the repair shop and the weather I heard is turning south so we cancelled and will reschedule for a few weeks out now. Give it a try some time. I'm sure you both will like it.

Peegeos, nice place to eat. Used to go there on Friday nights for dinner and get the all you can eat fish and fries, and of coarse beer also. Good friends live on Spider lake and was just a short run to get there.
