    Default Onalaska WI LaCrosse County

We did get 17" on top of the 5" that we had on the ground. The LaCrosse trail system opened Wednesday the 15th and the surrounding counties should be open by this weekend. If you want to keep up on the LaCrosse County trail system along with the surrounding counties or have questions about sledding in the Coulee Region you can find us on Facebook "Coulee Sno-Drifters" or PM me and I’ll try to help. Quick note about Onalaska:
A couple things when riding through Onalaska. There is no trail from the "Bike Trail" to "The Nutbusch Bar" this year so the street is the only way to get there and there is a city ordinance against riding off trail. The other thing is that the county put a grass seeding roll out matting on the hill just south of Two Brothers so be cautious of that getting in your track.

There are several locations that you can drop and go, depending on where you are coming from. There are several locations in Onalaska (watch your time there) or off Hwy 16 along county B. Also, you can drop in West Salem along the bike trail and Midway/Brices Praire along the bike trail. If you want to get off the bike trail there are several places that allow dropping also but the one's first listed are pretty much right off the interstate. Oh, and an fyi, on the map the parking areas do show up. You just need to get to the third page area and they pop in.

    Rocky-

Do you have a mapsource file (gdb) of the google map? I could then load all the data on one map and post a link for you.

On my laptop.. which hopefully comes out of the shop today after being in there for a month to get a new motherboard. That means the county trail maps will be coming out soon also.. laughing..
I have it in .kml, .gpx., .usr once I get the laptop I'll have access to being able to convert to whatever you want. I can never seem to get it to post correctly on google. I also have trails that I mapped for Vernon and some for Monroe and other surrounding counties.

Gpx would work fine. I also have began mapping La Crosse county but don't have nearly the amount of tracks/waypoints as you have. I've attached an example of what I've got so far.

I have the entire county as I've sent it with the groomer guys when they go out plus when I ride. I have mapped the new changes already in my area also. Dano, just realized I uploaded last years county map to GpsSledmaps so you may want to check that site out for the .gpx
