Any Suggestions(St.Germain Area)

Heading to St. Germain this Sunday. I've never been up there and wanted to stay there two out of the three nights. On one of the nights I'd like to back pack it up north and stay the night somewhere else. Any one have any suggestions on what would be a great ride to put on some miles. Also places to stay once we get to our destination. Thanks!

How far north do you want to go? Bond Falls north of Watersmeet MI is a great destination place:

North from St Germain head to Land O Lakes then north to Watersmeet. It's probably a 75 mile one-way ride from St G.

Just be aware that you'll need both WI ($35) and MI ($35) trail stickers.

If you want a high-mileage trip, head to Copper Harbor MI and stay overnight. It's about 300 miles by trail (one way) from St. G.

If you don't want the cost of trail passes in both states, head towards Hurley WI. Lots of snow, plenty of places to stay.
