Default Munising Trip 1/16 to 1/22

We always ride from Sunday to Friday night, leaving early Saturday. This keeps us away from the weekend traffic (most of the time). Sunday the trails (8/7/419/417) were very bumpy, they had a large amount of people up for the "Holiday Weekend" Monday thru Friday the trails were all great except in the high traffic areas, more people during the week than in the last few years. Also it was very cold. Went to Big Bay on Thursday, all the trails were excellent, even seen a snowmobile cop in harvey at night just very cold and windy. Friday went out and played in the Kingston plain and along 43, got stuck on a wood pile, that looked like a nicce smooth hill, all the fresh powder, yessss!!!!! A great trip and it was nice to see more people than in the last few years. Had to wait in Grand Marias for gas, long lines. I put on only 750 miles for the week, I was sick on Tuesday and did not ride, my buddies had about 1000 miles for the week. I can't wait till the February Trip-3 more weeks to go.

Let me know what dates you are heading back north and I'll see if I need to change my reservations.

What was the gas price in Grand Marais, thinking of riding over that way.
