    Default Huron Manistee National Forest petition

    Hey all, Michigan senator John Moolenar has set up an online petition on his website to try to prevent the Huron forest from being closed to sleds and hunting. Here is the link if it works..

    Went to the meeting in Southfield. It was me and the 2 US forest service people....they were great and very informative.

    This should be a link to house resolution 2 introduced by state Representative Bruce Rendon (R-103), it was unanimously approved by the House Natural Resources, Tourism, and Outdoor Recreation Committee on Tuesday, February 8. This resolution expresses opposition to the imposition of a ban on firearm hunting in certain areas of the Huron-Manistee National Forest .

    It appears if you are out of state address it doesn't work. MI addresses only. Luckily I have a house in MI!
