Default Thanks to rp7x and xc700lp!

Received the chaincase for my 700 yesterday. Worked on it for about an hour yesterday, and another hour or 2 today and got it all finished up. Went to start it, ran for 2 seconds, backfired, died, and would NOT start again. Took me a half hour to diagnose I ran it out of gas! A few days ago I siphoned it all out. I went and got 2 gallons of 93 octane non ethanol gas, put er in there, and sure enough! It started right up! Skid looks a lil different huh?

    Thanks again guys!

    (rp7x, I sent you a pm)

    Default For what?

What are you thanking those guys for? rp7x isn't very helpful with anything!

You didn't remember you had drained all of the gas out a few days ago? Sniffy too much glue are we?

rp7x sent me the chaincase from xc700lp's sled. A few pm's I send him seem to be returned blank, just wanted to make sure he gets the memo!

You figure out what color you getting yet? The blue didn't look QUITE as good in person as I thought it would, but it looked decent. The red/white and white/red pro r's looked GREAT! You plan on getting the 121 or 136?

And if anyone can remember back to my "clunk clunk clunk" threads earlier in the winter, well, I think pic #5 explains it lol

rp7x did mention that to me, what a good guy! I don't get to see the colors until the 18th in Duluth, MN. I'm for sure getting a 136" and am leaning toward the Adventure. I also like the retro graphics, and the Sunset Red color. I will look close at the red Pro R's but would add the luggage rack to it. I'm getting anxious to see 'em!

Have you heard anything on the changes to the 600? I have not.

nope, i went to the sneak peak last night though. Nothing but the retro graphics really popped out at me on the internet, got there, and man the pro-r's looked nice. adventure looked sweet too, graphics are clean and simple. Didn't even get close enough to touch it, everybody was surrounded by it! Idk what the big deal is with it, just seems like a 136 trail sled that you can sit down and ride thru some pow on logging roads if you feel like it? I think a lot of it has to do with the fact it doesn't look TOO old mannish.

Gotta love the retro look, especially at my age. I grew up with that look and love it!

Indy - I noticed you forgot to put away the two most important tools in the box. A BFH and a screwdriver...
