After riding Yamaha's for 31 years, we decided it was time for a Harley-Davidson. We figured we may as well start the ownership experience near the top of the ladder. Man, what a great ride this is! I now have 3,000 miles on it. We wish we would have switched sooner. These are from the day we rode her home- April 9, 2011.

2012 Road Glide Ultra. They just came out, this bike was built in June.
My first Harley. Loved the Wing but I thought it was time to take a different swing at the bike thing. My wife agreed with two requests,
No load pipes
She will not wear a leather halter top. I might win on one but only one.
After 350 miles now, its awesome. Can't wait to get her broke in!
So what your saying is" I really want to go to Sturgis with you guys, cause I have this thing for Leather haltertops and I know they wear them there." my advice, "Go with the loud pipes and have her skip the top all together!"
I just went out to Rapid City last week to finally pick up my new to me American Legend Trailer. Thursday, we leave for Ohio with it in tow. What a beautiful trailer behind a beautiful bike!

Update- I now have 6400 miles on this beauty! Just got back from a round trip to Ohio and a 1400 mile long weekend.
Doggone resizing. Got a garage full of bikes. Rode 205 mile trip around Traverse City and Northport to Irons, Mi. Cooking wings on the grill, bon fire and beer, life is good! Oh and jello and pudding shots.
Wife wants a new bike since I got new sled. My response was, "what??? I am not made of gold!!!" let's see how long I hold out on this one. heres a pic of the bike she picked out. Heck it has a 103 engine with a 6 speed tranny. How's my little Evo going to keep up?

I would ride it for sure. Wife said today that she would take my bike if I wanted to buy it. Then the Polaris dealer called and was wondering if I wanted to pick my new sled up anytime soon. That killed the new bike idea for now. So many toys so little money!
