Wildly successful in Europe, the Spotify music service has now been released in the USA and can be found at www.spotify.com. While similar to Pandora in concept, this service has a key difference in that you select the tracks you wish to hear. Yup, sitting at your pc you just pick a track or an album and play it.

Spotify features over 15 million album tracks that you can listen too for free, like Pandora, there are ads and limits which you can eliminate by upgrading to a premium service with a monthly charge. The only downside I have found is that to use a mobile device you need the ultimate package, which is $10 per month.

I installed it this morning and am sitting here listening to an Ana Popovic album that I have been wanting to hear.
