I hate their system. I have to book in January for the Silver Lake State Park not even knowing if I can make it. Cancelling isn't a big deal but still, six months in advance!!

It makes it impossible to book a camping trip, to a popular park, without sitting at your keyboard at midnight 180 days before the trip.

Don't have a solution, just don't like their system.

It is the same crappy system for booking a marina. What about weather? Guess if you own a yacht than the state figures tough, the slip sits empty with no refund.
