Steady rain here too. Enough to wash the salt off the car on the way to work. If this is winter, bring on the spring so I can get some work done.
-
Heck of a thunderstorm thru the night in s.w.l....woke up to 45 deg....well at least this should get rid of all that old snow that we got two days ago....uuuhhhggggg!!!!!

Snow here in Marquette....based on the news this morning, the rain/snow line is somewhere between Marquette and Munising.
-

Here in Alpena,mi i woke up at 6 am to thunder! Then it got louder and more frequent with some crazy lightening too!Oh and it was only 36 degrees!! I thought i had traveled in time and woke up in july. Im sure glad i got to ride hard this weekend!!!

Well, she aint raining no more folks! Woke up to no school, a fresh inch of snow, and its still coming down!
-
Drizzle here in Wetmore. Got about an inch of snow too. Freezing rain too. It's a mix of everything. Hopefully the temp will drop soon so we get some snow. That should make the trails good for one more day of riding!

This "so-called" winter bites.
I sure hope it changes for the better SOON!
Had the day off, and was going to go to the U.P.
Everything is glare ice.
This sucks.
-
I here ya bigvin!! If it wasn't for the fact that my stuff is paid for I think I would get out.
Between coordinating work, the weather not to mention getting group together I've just about had it. Very frustrating.

Hey YooperMike...we are gonna be at our cabin in Curtis this weekend, and I am wondering if it is worth towing the sleds along...what do conditions out north look like?
Thanks!
-
You probably have better snow there. I rode on Sunday from the 455/453 intersection north to camp 1 trail area. Camp 1 had about 20" of snow on the ground. Did some carving, but with the heavy rain yesterday and re-freeze last night, I'm sure it's like a block of ice now. It is currently snowing, big white fluffies, and maybe 2" has accumulated since it started this morning. If you're sticking to the trails, you'll probably be OK. But I wouldn't expect too much for powder fun-time snow. Hoping for the opposite tho! If we don't get another thaw, what is there now will provide an excellent base.

Thanks for the update!
I figured we probably have more snow here in Marquette (got a solid 6" from the latest storm), but gotta go check on things at the cabin...haven't been there for a couple of weeks.
Guess I'll bring the sleds and hope for the best!
