I have seen Bobcats, up close and personal. That looks like a German Shepard.

If I had Waynes vision, I would say German Shepard too.

Looks like a Bobcat to me. Cool pic, either way.

Looks like a cougar. I saved the image to my smart phone and was able to enlarge the pic.

Laughed SO hard. Are you sure it wasn't an international bobcat or a case cougar??

Bobcat. Cougars generally have blonde hair and push up bras!

Hard to tell with the darkness and not seeing a tail or lack there of. Just based on the size of the cat I would say cougar?

Most likely a Bobcat as Cougars are only known to frequent late night establishments with a lot of make up on while chain smoking.

First off, are those carrots, beats or what laying there? You can judge the size of the cat by comparing it to known objects close by. There have been several confirmed cougar sightings in Michigan and Wisconsin, so it would be no surprise if this is a cougar, which it looks like to me. At first I though, house cat. Then when I compared it to the "stuff" laying around, I though "Woah."

Ok after lesledhead's post I looked again at the picture, if those are carrots laying around there I would have to say Bobcat? I have seen one of each over the years, the bobcat I saw was smaller then this one and the cougar was much bigger then this one.

I'm no expert and would rather neither cross my path on a dark winter's night. It looks kind of thick in the shoulders and rear to me. Not sure if a Bobcat would be that heavy in early December.

My wife just got a pic of a cougar (deer in mouth) in Dowagiac, MI on facebook.
125 miles apart? There could be a couple passing through.
