    Default ATC 90 Coil?

I have a Honda 3-Wheeler 90cc with a bad coil. The OEM coil is discontinued but, the coil for the 90cc CT is available. They are both 6 volt and look almost identacle. The only differance I can see is that the CT has a batery, and the ATC does not. Therefore, there would be an extra wire. My question is, will the one from the CT work on the ATC? I'm thinking it will... just cap the extra wire. I just don't want to spend the $80.00 to find out it won't work. No returns on electrical!

    Thanks

"The OEM coil is discontinued but, "? (Or is that a "discontinued butt, "?)
(Just read the sentence, pausing where you put the comma; does that sound right? vs. "The OEM coil is discontinued, [← a complete thought, so pause (comma) there, then add the qualifier→] but the coil …")

    … "almost identacle"?, "differance"?, "batery"?
Identacle: would that be like twin "octopusses" committing assault and battery with their "identicals"? [I know, "octopusses" is not the correct plural form of octopus!]

… Almost identical, the only difference is the "speling"!(?) Does your speller need a new battery! Eeek!
[I "Appollo jize"; I can't help it, the Devil made me to it! — That noise you hear is my head banging against the wall!]
