So True!!!

The RZR 4 has a longer wheelbase than the Teryx 4 and for trail riding I would prefer the shorter wheelbase of the Teryx. The interior on the Teryx has a lot more room.4 Adults in a RZR 4 is too tight.I have RZR s for jumping and screwing around.I am more interested in ergonomics for trail riding.Thats why I like the Commander.I have had many RZRs over the last 5 years some with modified chassis, suspension, motors, etc they are fun,but lack some things I would like to see when trail riding.

ya thats understandable...Can am seats suck. IMO and i havent looked at a tyrx much yet.

they are proven...i like how the other manufactures are aiming to match the RzR in any trim...but they have yet to do so!

I ended up buying a Teryx 4.This is the best 4 seater out there for how I ride!Wheelbase allows me to follow the quads in the tight stuff. It climbs better than my RZR.Power and suspension are very surprising.Power wise the XP9 4 seater would be the only one to out run it.If I lived out west I could see having an XP9 4 seater. In the Northwoods Teryx4 all day long.Comfort is way up over the other models.

umm....a T4 has a limited top speed of 50mph. All RZR and Can Am are faster than that.

Yea and Im talking about 4 seaters. The rzr 4 800 should go just over 60 but that weak 800 will have a hard time doing it with four passengers.I am more talking along the lines of acceleration than top speed.

Maybe out west but not in Wisconsin.
Speed should not be the factor when most trails are 25 MPH already!
Should be a nice ride Noodles

Yeah I was just wondering how you came up with the claim that the T4 was faster. Especially considering is heavier with less hp than a RZR 4. But it looks like they geared it very low. 7100 rpm at 50 mph. RZR4 top speed is 67 mph at 6500 rpm.

Yeah I guess it wouldnt matter. But in over 10k miles of trails Ive ridden, Ive seen very few 25 mph trails. Seen some road routes that have speed limits. But hardly any trails.

I think the Teryx is rated at 52 hp.The torque is incredible.I am not telling you this thing is a rocket ship ,but pleasantly surprised at how good it accelerates.I just know that my RZR S acceleration drops dramaticaly when I have a passenger with me.I would hate to see it with four.I still have my RZR s when I want to run hard.I just wanted more of a comfortable 4 seater cruiser. If you get a chance to drive one try it its a pretty fun machine. With only 8 inches of travel I didnt expect much out of the suspension but it does very well.

Yeah hopefully there will be more people with UTVs now. I would like to actually ride in different machines. I like my RZR but really wish Yamaha would built a sport UTV. Then all the others would be forced to build better machines.
P.S. Maybe you got something off in the clutching on the RZR? With myself and my bro, over 500lbs together, our RZRs dont lose alot. Yeah, on a road you can tell some, but not out on a trail against a 3rd RZR with the driver about 180-200lbs.
