    Default Deadliest Catch started tonight!

I sure enjoy this show! It's going to be a heck of a year with the weather they had up there this year. I see the Harris boys are on seperate boats working as deck hands. Looking forward to the next episode already!

I noticed that red Vette too, Dad must have left them a little something! I wonder what's happened with their boat? I think there were other owners that probably bought them out.

My Favorite as well. Yeah, that saddend me to see the Harris Boys as Deck Hands. Edgar missed it so much he came back, not to mention he was broke.

Quota;s down=a tough go at making big bucks.

Watched the after show about the deck hands, very entertaining.

    Cheers

Edgar did mention he was broke, again. He is a hardcore fisherman. I am sure Jake had to do a pee test to get to work on the Northwestern. when they were talking about the percent chance of getting hurt (100%) really got me thinking. Since the show started airing I heard that 11-12 guys have perished to the sea. Those guys earn their money.

best "reality show" on tv hands down.
The deck hand show after the main show was really good. That toilet that clogged on the Cornelia Marie and how they got it unclogged was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen.

Another show I looked forward to every Friday night was Gold Rush. Something about that show that just draws me in. I love the characters!

the fishing licenses alone is worth big bucks for gill net salmon you have to buy from some one who has one.AK stopped issuing in the early 80s then after you get you license you get a yearly permit from the state.most guys sell them and retire in comfort with the money.I assume crab is the same way.

I have said it before no one stays awake for 2 to 3 days at a time on free will.at least when I was a kid in the mid 70s 80s in to the 90s upper drugs were comon place on the docks.

reality TV is far from reality statement above is part of that.was talking with the original swamp people guy last mo in LA.they quit doing the show because of all the PC bs they wanted from them like stop selling gator meat having scripted days etc etc he said money was not worth it.but were talking with history chanal about doing there show with no scripts or stipulations on what they sell and how they run there buisness

I thought that was bush league on the Rambin Rose's part to drop all his pots next to Juniors pot's just because he can't find any crab and Junior was killing it. Total ghetto.

Then the captain on the Ramblin Rose ( I forget his name) is pissed off because Junior calls him out on it and the captain says he's gonna kick Juniors a--. Yah right, that guy probably weighs 150 lbs. soaking wet, Junior would destroy him. Maybe next weeks episode...I hope.

I agree, very bush league! I was thinking last night that Junior would have no problems with that little mouse.
