 Running Bear Summer Project
A BIG change is coming to the Running Bear!! We're painting the place! We're changing the color! No more white cabins!  I've waited 5 years for this! The pressure washing has begun! 2 houses and 6 cabins to do. I'm starting day 3 and have the main house/office done (top picture) and 3/4 of the middle house done. I'm hoping to finish the middle house and 1 cabin today.
Found out yesterday that at the end of the day when your tired if both feet aren't planted firmly on the ground before you pull the trigger...well it will knock you back about 5 steps  at least it wasn't on my a$$
Off to see how today goes

Good luck with the painting. I have spent so many hours with a paint brush and roller that I might have merged into some sort of paintbrushrollerman.
The paint is really going to change the look of the place. Are you ready?

Wow! You are really doing alot of work to the place this summer. I'm sure it will look great when finished. How is your cabin remodel going? We look forward to returning this winter for some more sledding. Good luck with your summer projects!

Well we did it the whole place is pressure washed We had one cabin that we needed to hand scraped so one of our resident guests Max (here for 2 months) said he'd trade rent for scraping so he did all the scraping for us what a great guy. Now we let them dry, finish some siding and soffits, then caulk, prime and paint.
favoritos I painted a section of one of the cabins last fall that I can see when I'm sitting at the kitchen table so I looked at it all winter, I'm ready for the change, I can't wait!!
polarismike The remodel project is coming along even tho it was a can of worm, everything is re-built, new plumbing and wiring is in, new windows are in, insulation up and drywall should be up by the end of this week. Not sure if we'll make Memorial Day but we'll be close

Well we got one cabin painted finely!! Still have the door and shutters but I think it looks awesome!!
