I doubt it. Accidents happen everyday with motorcycles.

I almost always wear a helmet, but don't chastise others for not wearing one. There is a reason why Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, & Minnesota have laws that give the rider a CHOICE to wear one.

I wear a helmet because of reasons like this. You can't control what other people do when you're out there and that is what scares me.

I have lost too many friends to motorcycle accidents over the years including a husband & wife couple. All the accidents were the others guy's fault but everyone is still dead. Everyone I know was dead at point of impact so at least no suffering. Very dangerous machines in my experinces & no 2nd chances.

Doug's remains will return to Michigan tomorrow at 3pm via the Milwaukee/Muskegon high speed ferry boat.
Anyone willing to donate to help offset the expenses for the families please make checks out to: MMG Tragedy Fund, and the donations can be sent or brought in to any PNC Bank and they will make sure it is used to help the families involved.

We as a bike community need to stand up here and make our voice heard!!letters, phone calls I don't know....this man needs to be charged with every thing they can we need this to be in the public eye.......I have a bad feeling this is going to be one them "*** how he get probation for killing 2 people" things.......

He has a arrest history a mile long.
