Side by side riding in the Land O Lakes Wi area

I am thinking of setting up a family trip up to Land O Lakes Wi in early Aug and want to find out if there are rental places in the area that rent SxS's and trails to ride from the rental place.

Any input would be appreciated,

Land o lakes recreation rents side by side and ATV's. Headwaters in Watersmeet rents Polaris. Consider staying at Runningbear resort a bit up the road in Paulding, Mi. Great people and you can ride right from the cabins.

If you rent from Lando O Lakes Rec...you cut through the gas station and then the parking lot of The Gateway. From there you ride along side of the runway to the Michigan trail system. We had a great time renting from them a few weeks ago.

Phelps open to ATVs now at least for 2 year trial but only on pavement no trails & connects with Forest county Alvin & Nelma.Vilas towns starting to find ways around Vilas County ban on Atvs. But you are correct Vilas does not like Atvs overall. Northwest Vilas is where the haters reside Atvs east Vilas ok with it. Got to check with towns 1st in Vilas then ride.

I'm looking to stay at Sunrise Lodge and will look into renting from Land O Lakes Rec across from the gas station on 45.

x2 on the sunrise breakfast. nice people at the rental place in lando (the one in watersmeet as well). you should have a great time

wags, you will have a great time with the family! Land O lakes Recreation is a great place and so is Headwaters! You can ride right from either place to the trails. They both have maps of all the trails too. Elise and **** (Sunrise) have a super place!
