Nice Boat

My buddy has a sailboat in Newport Beach, he's in Catalina right now. This boat just pulled in, my buddy wants to know if he should race him!nice boat.jpg

These are ULDB boats (ultra-light Displacement Boat). When we lived in SoCal you would see these occasionally. They are designed to race from Long Beach to Honolulu, down wind. They actually surf down swells. So, while regular people avoid squalls at night, these crews go looking for them. Supposed to be quite a ride.
