Default Not really an "Ask John"

This morning, at 5:35 AM, on WGN AM, The Big "O" (Orion Samuelson) quoted Mr. John Dee of Global Weather Monitoring as saying that he saw no real drought busting pattern change on tap for the next week to ten days...or something to that effect (hey...it was early!). Brought a grin to my face...

It's not the WGN of our parents era anymore, that's for sure. Not only is Brandmeier on the air, but so is Gary Meier. WAY back in the day when Meier was working with Steve Dahl they used to poke fun at nearly ALL of the WGN jocks...especially Wally Phillips...they even had a little "song" making fun of him and his show. Things have sure changed...but come to think of it, I think The Big O has been on the air at The G for over 50 years! Soooo....not everything changes I guess! It was still fun hearing you mentioned this morning....

Wow, Brandmeier is on GN, I'll have to tune in. Still have a Johnny and the Leisure Suits CD. That will bring back some memories. Even saw him in concert at Popular Creek one time, now thats a Cabelas. How things change. All we need now is for "Animal Stories" to come on at 9:45 with Lil Tommy and Uncle Lar!
