    Default Weather predicting.

John, could you compare weather predicting to being similiar to say, Removing a sliver from your thumb with a salad spoon?

    Kind of...

But really, more like dropping a leaf in a stream and then having to predict exactly where it will travel as it heads down the stream, but with the added twists of: The stream is 3 dimensional, not just 2; the leave can change it's characteristics like temperature and form (solid, liquid, gas); and those changes can bring about events like rain, snow, fog, freezing rain, etc.

Oh, and there is actually not just one leaf, but billions of them.

Lol, gotcha, Lake Michigan and Superior make mighty big streams. I have seen all 4 seasons during a 2 hour little league game. Tough job is putting it mildly.
